Publication Ethics – International Journal of The Quintessential Journal (IJQJ)

The Quintessentialis committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all stages of the publication process. The journal follows the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and expects all stakeholders—authors, reviewers, editors, and publishers—to adhere to ethical principles and best practices.

Responsibilities of Authors

  • Originality and Plagiarism: Authors must ensure that their work is entirely original and appropriately cite or quote the work of others. All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. A similarity index above 10% may lead to rejection.

  • Authorship: All listed authors must have made significant contributions to the research and agree to the final version of the manuscript. Any changes to authorship after submission must be justified and approved by all authors.

  • Multiple Submissions: Manuscripts must not be submitted to more than one journal at the same time. Duplicate or redundant publication is unethical.

  • Data Transparency: Authors must provide accurate data and be prepared to share raw data or supporting documentation upon request.

  • Conflicts of Interest: Any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that may influence the research must be disclosed.

  • Ethical Approval: Research involving human participants, animals, or sensitive data must have approval from an appropriate ethics committee and comply with international ethical standards.
