Internet shutdown means disconnection of internet services within a specific location, whether district, state or country. It is one of the useful technologies in the present world, which is useful in every aspect of business and social life. It has various advantages for the growth and development of business. On the other side the shutdown of these internet services impacts socially and economically. In this present study, we want to explain the internet shutdown and its impact on Jammu and Kashmir (JK), where most internet shut- downs are recorded in the world and also want to highlight the changes in JK after the abrogation of article 370 by the government of India.
