This revised study examines how community organization around small-scale terrace and backyard farming can foster both self-sufficiency and environmental sustainability in Mundoor, Palakkad. Grounded in Green Social Work principles, the paper integrates recent scholarship (2020-2024), refines objectives to align with the title, and employs a mixed-methods design to assess attitudes, resource constraints, and ecological outcomes. Recommendations include scaling up technical training, formalizing micro-enterprises, and establishing a community-led monitoring framework |
