The Faculty of Education of the university offers the largest and most comprehensive teacher training programs that qualify students to teach in a variety of educational institutes across India and abroad at the Pre-primary, Elementary and Secondary levels. The training curriculum meets the standardized qualifications for teachers under the RTE Act and is in alignment with the mandate of UGC, NCTE&RCI. The aim of the department is to prepare individuals who will bring change through teaching, leadership, research and services in their professions and in the community. Moreover, despite this, we also aim to develop professionally equipped and humane teachers and quality practitioners in the field of education. It offers innovative academic discourse and programmes for preparing professionals at various levels of education. The Faculty of Education continually welcomes students in a milieu of incessant learning and training reflective practitioners that can respond adequately to the diverse requirements of students in managed classroom sessions of the twenty first century.
