The expertise, knowledge, and concern of working professionals, such as teachers, are essential to the development of young people in our society. Concerns of equity, opportunity, and the development of human potential must be addressed in the context of education quality. Both teaching and the professional training intended to improve it have faced criticism in recent years. This study aims to evaluate and diagnose the nature of the correlations between job satisfaction in two domains using empirical data. 600 secondary school teachers from both public and private institutions in five districts of Punjab made up the sample. Two areas of job satisfaction have been examined. Job extrinsic and intrinsic characteristics. Job concrete and job abstract are two examples of intrinsic job features. Psycho-social, economic, and communal growth are examples of job extrinsic factors. Each of these factors had a significant impact on job satisfaction, according to the analysis. It might be inferred from this that Government and Private Secondary School teachers differ in terms of the psychosocial and financial components of job satisfaction while holding the same views on the concrete and abstract aspects of their jobs as well as community growth. Which is crucial for teacher effectiveness, which in turn influences how well students perform?
